28 Sept – Scotch Of St. James (or The Cromwelain?), London: Jimi is introduced to Brian Auger & The Trinity who let Jimi come on and jam.
29 Sept – In the early hours of this day, Jimi jammed with Alexis Korner at the club Les Cousins. Auditions at Birdland (Jimi meets Noel) + Blaises, London (jam with Brian Auger & The Trinity) – Chas meets Johnny Hallyday and arranges brief tour of France (Jimi as support act).

11 Sep – Dinner at Ginger Baker’s house. BBC interview with Keith Altham at The Cumberland Hotel. The search for a stand-in bassist continues. Noel Redding is messaged but there’s no answer.
12 Sep – Jimi goes to see the Antonio movie “The Red Desert” in the West End of London.
13 Sep – Rotterdam concert cancelled. Jimi meets friend at his Cumberland Hotel suite in the afternoon..
14 Sep – Nefer leaves and Jimi starts seeing Monika Dannemann and meets up with his other girlfriend Devon Wilson and Alan Douglas. Visit to Roger Daltry’s house in Berkshire with Devon. Daltry absent.
15 Sep – Jimi goes to see Eric Burdon and War at Ronnie Scott’s, London. They decline his offer to jam with them because of the state he is in.
16 Sep – A party for Judy Wong’s birthday at Elvaston Place. Evening – some say Jimi popped into the Lyceum to see Sly Stone play + a jam with Eric Burdon and War at Ronnie Scott’s Club.
17 Sep – Photos in garden behind Samarkand Hotel. Jimi meets up with various friends around London. Partying until the early hours of the next morning.
18 Sep – Jimi dies in the ambulance on the way to St. Mary Abbot’s Hospital, London (as stated by the hospital on the day and at the inquest).
